[–Alright, I’m feeling really awkward about doing this because I don’t interact with this person as much as I want to, but ugh it’s just eating me up inside and ghsakdlghal. 

Okay. Lemme tell you guys about the most flawlessly developed OC I’ve seen in the SnK fandom so far, legionismedicus. Now, I may be biased because I haven’t seen many around to begin with, but bear with me, kay?

All the years I’ve been RPing has made me, regretfully, a little picky about OCs. But Ophelia, Ophelia dude. I mean, this OC just blows me away, and really has made me reconsider everything I’ve thought about original characters in the past. 

• She’s got a great backstory and a well-fleshed out personality–she’s got her strengths and her flaws.
• Her faceclaim fits very smoothly with the art style of Attack on Titan, which takes a lot more time and research than you’d think.  
• The way Ophelia could fit into the canon story as a medical officer is so natural/feasible/believable, you want to think she’s really in it (as a well-developed OC should, but still).

On top of all that, the mun is a phenomenal writer and she just kinda leaves you a lil’ intimidated with her quality.  ヽ(；▽；)ノ 

Original characters are just so hard to develop. I’d be scared shitless of doing one myself, so I really think the sheer amount of work this mun has accomplished deserves a lot more recognition.
