“Beef jerky?” Bertholdt angled his head to the side and hummed thoughtfully before a nervous expression crossed his face.
“I do not mind helping, but won’t we get in trouble? We are not allowed to touch that, right?” Although beef jerky did sound pretty good..
“Well, y'see–” Connie decided the best way to do this would be to go through his haphazard logic.
“I’m only five two, dude. I could easily climb up the shelves to try an’ snag it, but… Climbin’ up on stuff means I could make a lot of noise.”
“But you–you’re like, over a foot taller than me! You could just reach, nice and quiet, and no one would find out!” His plan was unquestionably flawless.
